Abu Dhabi Police organized an awareness campaign for 2900 male and female students about traffic safety, and introduced them to the community police services. The campaign comes in line with the “Safety First” exhibition organized at the Afaq School in Abu Dhabi, which is organized by the Emirates Transport in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Police was represented in the exhibition by the community police and security inspection (K9) departments that presented shows for trained dogs, which were admired by the audience. The traffic directorates and patrols organized awareness campaigns on traffic safety, along with Police Academies and Crime Scenes Department. Concerts of police music were also organized during the event.

First Lieutenant Salim Ali Al Kathiri, Director, Awareness and Prevention Division at the Community Police, noted that the exhibition aims at spreading awareness among school students, and introduce them to community police, its objectives, the importance of safety and traffic education. In addition, awareness programs and lectures for drivers, and transport and safety observers were organized as well.
