Abu Dhabi Police and Australian counterpart explores cooperation in forensics

Abu Dhabi Police and its Australian counterpart discussed areas of technical cooperation and training in forensics and joint projects in this respect.

Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, director of Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police received a delegation from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) headed by Julian Slater, assistant commissioner of National Manager Forensic and Data Centres.

During the meeting, Al Hammadi spoke about the development of laboratories at the Abu Dhabi Police Forensic Evidence Department and its future aspirations in this field.

The head of the Australian delegation also presented a brief about the plans and projects of forensics at the Australian Federal Police.
