In cooperation with Cisco, the ICT Department at the Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations Directorate General organized a workshop on information and network security at the Forensic Evidence Department hall, with the participation of 92 Abu Dhabi Police personnel.
Colonel Anwar Abdullah Al Malla, ICT Department Director, said that the workshop aims at getting acquainted with the latest technologies, introducing them to the personnel, developing their capacities and keeping in pace with cutting-edge advancements.
He underscored the importance of cooperation among partners to build institution capacities and thus develop work; pointing out that the workshop reviewed the major technical challenges we face in everyday life, as well as some technical issues.
The workshop also shed light on matters related to infrastructure and cloud services, i.e. storing data in one place so that it can be easily accessed from different places. It also tackled the technologies used to raise technical security performance. Cisco also presented its latest products to support cloud services.
