Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing helicopter has transported a twenty year-old Arab woman and a 28 year-old Asian man from Delma Hospital to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi as a result of their poor medical condition.
The 35-weeks pregnant Arab woman suffered from ruptured membranes and labor pains. When her medical condition worsened, the hospital administration was obliged to call the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing helicopter, which was dispatched immediately after receiving the call from the central operations center to Delma Hospital. The helicopter medical crew delivered the necessary care to the patient to stabilize her health before transporting her to Khalifa Hospital.
Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing helicopter has also transported a 28 year-old Asian man from Delma Hospital to Khalifa Hospital. The man suffered from different fractures after falling from a height of nine meters. It was impossible to transport him in an ambulance; Delma Hospital administration called Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing helicopter to take immediate action. The helicopter medical crew administered the necessary care to the patient to stabilize his medical condition before transporting him to Khalifa Hospital.
