The Forensic Evidence Department at the Directorate General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ organized a lecture titled "Kaizen: Continuous Improvement". The lecture was delivered by Expert Bashar Jalal Sasa, who stressed the importance of continuous improvement and development in distinguished institutions, to achieve strategic goals.
"The improvement main tools depend mainly on the component capable of positive change within the organization, by identifying the direct elements to reduce waste and lack of coherence and coordination in police operations", noted Sasa.
Furthermore, he added: " 'Change begins within'; and employees must have a firm inner belief in the need to continuously change and improve on the personal and professional level and endeavor to achieve success".
The Expert also reviewed the Japanese experience, and the results achieved during the 40 years of adopting the Kaizen method.
The lecture was attended by a number of officers, non-commissioned officers and employees from departments affiliated to the Directorate General of Central operations at Abu Dhabi Police.
