Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police, discussed aspects of academic and technical cooperation with a delegation from Abu Dhabi Polytechnic, led by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mannan, Director of the college.
During its visit to the Forensic Evidence Department, the delegation was briefed on the various functions of the department, development operations, and the most important cases handled by the department's forensic experts. Lt. Colonel Expert Dr. Nawal Al Kathiri gave an overview of the various department's sections and their stages of development, which earned it international accreditations in numerous fields.
Furthermore, the delegation gave ??a presentation about the college, educational and training curriculum for students. Both parties reviewed the mutual mechanisms of communication, and means to leverage modern forensic laboratories available at the Forensic Evidence Department; as well as the advanced teaching methods at the college.
