Al Ain Traffic Section impounded (1703) vehicles and (65) motor bikes in the first third of this year, for speeding and non-compliance with motor bike use regulations.
The Section received (41289) customers, registered (40241) different violations, revoked (289) licenses due to exceeding the allowed number of traffic points and impounded (12) vehicles for driving without number plate.
Major Mattar Abdullah Al Miheiri, Director of Violations Branch at Al Ain Traffic Section said “The increase in transactions is due to the increase in vehicles number in Al Ain City, increase of campaigns and traffic control operations. He has urged drivers to go to Comprehensive Police Stations unless their vehicles are to be impounded or have traffic points”.
