15 ADP police officers complete a “major incidents” course

The Special Tasks Department affiliated to the Directorate General of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police, celebrated recently the graduation of 15 police officers who completed a two – week course on “major incidents management, which was held in collaboration with the French Police.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Rashid Suhail   Al Ali, director of the Department, and number of the officers.

The police leadership is keen to provide officers with training to deal with crisis and incidents, bearing in mind that UAE hosts a lot of events and festivals on both local and international levels, said Al Ali in a speech on this occasion.

The graduates received topics on securing major events, and watched a video on French experience in this area, focusing on the cons and pros of events security.

At the end Colonel Al Ali handed over certificates to the graduates.
