The Council of Policies and Strategies at the Ministry of the Interior, today, "Wednesday", held its first meeting in 2012, headed by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister at the El Etihad auditorium at the ministry.
The Council was briefed on self-assessment outcomes of customer service centers at the level of the Ministry of Interior. Recommendations to develop these centers and opportunities for improvement resulting from participation in the Interior’s Minister Excellence Award have been laid down at the level of police general headquarters and departments at the Ministry of Interior.
The Council discussed the assessment of senior leadership course held at the ministry, the graduation projects, and indicators of evaluation of this course. Discussed also were some security phenomena and statistics relating thereto. Appropriate solutions have been set for such problems.
Meeting was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, assistants undersecretary, and police commanders-in-chief nationwide.
