The Employees Performance Appraisal Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) organized a workshop to introduce recent 2016 developments in job performance evaluation. The one-day workshop was held in the auditorium of the MoI Headquarters and included various sectors from the Ministry.

First Lieutenant Khaled Ahmed Omar, Chief of the Officers Performance Appraisal Section of the Employees Performance Appraisal Department at the MoI, reviewed comprehensive statistics concerning staff performance and benchmarked them with the previous year’s results. He also discussed the difficulties and challenges that faced the evaluation process last year, as well as the proposed solutions. Further to this, he explained the competency evaluation framework, as well as the conditions and regulations involved in scoring an ‘Excellent’ grade under each evaluation category.
