On the sidelines of the seventh edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016), the Ministry of Interior (MoI) signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Interior of Sudan in the field of security cooperation.

The MoU was signed by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior on behalf of the UAE Ministry of Interior and First Lieutenant General Hashim Osman Al Hussein Saad, Director General of the Sudanese Police.

The MoU aims to reinforce security cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the areas of crime fighting and the exchange of experiences in areas of training, information and best police practices.

The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Jassem Al Mansouri from the Inspector General's Office;
Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazroui, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior.

The delegation of the Sudanese Ministry of Interior included Lt. General Abdul Rahman Hassan Abdul Rahman, Head of the Supply Authority; Major General Dr. Hadi Khalifa Majzoub, Director General of Criminal Evidence; General Hashim Hussein, Director General of Civil Defense; and Colonel Nader Yusuf Mohammed, Director of Protocol.
