Lieutenant General Saif Abdallah Al Shafar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, received Elissar Sarrouh, Resident Coordinator of the UN and Resident Representative of the UNDP yesterday in the UAE, on the occasion of the end of her duties in the country.
Elissar Sarrouh expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Interior for its close cooperation with the UN Office and for facilitating the Office's operations, which enabled it to fulfill its duties. She also commended the Ministry's high level of services to both citizens and residents.
She expressed her appreciation for the great efforts made by the Ministry of Interior to preserve advances in security and safety, as well as the services offered to citizens and residents of the country and the constructive cooperation with the Office of the UNDP serving both parties interests.
Major Abdelrahman Jwaid from the Department of International Cooperation in the Ministry of Interior was also present at the meeting.
