The Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) discussed ways to prepare a quarterly plan for annual awareness lectures to be provided for police staff members during 2016. The committee also touched on the events for Traffic Week, and on the preparation of an awareness video for the week-long event, for publication through social media.
The Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee held a meeting headed by lecturer Colonel Dr. Jasim Khalil Mirza, Director of Security Awareness Department at Dubai Police, at the headquarters of the Police Officers Club in Dubai.
The meeting discussed the media plan for Traffic Week, the preparation time for the activities of the events, and the role of the police general headquarters in their organization. It also discussed the competencies of the Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee, in order to unify efforts and actions at the police leaders’ level, and provide research and studies in order to achieve the committee’s objectives.
