The ambulance aircraft of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department rescued two citizens transferring them to hospitals to be treated. One of the two citizens rescued is a newborn baby who suffered from severe anemia; the infant was transferred to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. The second citizen, a man in his forties, got injured in a car accident, and was transported to Al Rahba Hospital for treatment.

The Operations Room received a report of the first incident, upon which the aircraft immediately transferred the 23 day-old baby from Zayed City Hospital in the Western Region to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi to be treated for severe anemia. The baby’s condition was critical.

The Air Wing’s aircraft also transferred a 45 year-old citizen who was injured in a car collision with a truck on Al Faya Road on Emirates Road. The medical report indicated that he had many fractures and bruises in his body.
