Special Court  for the Trail of Illegal Residents

Under the directives from  HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan ,Under Secretary to the Ministry of Interior a Court has been set up in Alwasba jail for the trail of residence law violations

Colonel Yousuf Abdul karim Manager of the jail said that under the directives of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan ,all cases will be transferred to Alwasba jail for investigation and trail. Earlier the violators were kept at the directorate for investigation.

The new set up; he said, is in line with the humanitarian policy of the UAE Government where the prosecution and trail takes place at one place where the under trails will have the facilities to meet their sponsors and other visitors.

Colonel Abdul karim also said that another new project to build  sports facilities close to the jail premises is also on the anvil
