Sheikh Saif bin Zayed opened the Traffic Safety Exhibition

His highness sheikh saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior has opened the traffic safety exhibition organized along side of the PRI conference that is being held at the emirates palace hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The ceremony was also attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz ,the Honorary Chairman of the Arab organization for road safety, his Excellency Maj. Gen.Saif Al Shafaar ,the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Interior , other VIP’s ,members of the diplomatic missions and Senior Police officers have attended the Opening of the exhibition.
Various departments of the Ministry of Interior and the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, Emirates driving company, and other organizations from the Emirates and other countries have opened their stalls at the exhibition highlighting various issues related to traffic safety.

The Conference is being held Under the Patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the Chairman of the Executive Council.
Organizing of this conference in the Emirates highlights the Countries interest in benefiting from the international experience for preventing road accidents and loss of valuable lives.
The 2006 conference will pave the way for the development of a comprehensive traffic safety strategy for the Emirates.
