The Security Inspection Section (K9) at the Directorate General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of a specialized security course using police sniffer dogs. The course focused on training participants on the proper methods of handling and training police sniffer dogs in the framework of police and security duties.
During the ceremony held on the occasion, Captain Sulayem Nassib Al Shamesi, Acting Chief of the Security Inspection (K9) Section, stressed the Ministry of Interior’s keen interest to embody the vision of the UAE in becoming one of the best countries in the world in terms of security and safety. “The UAE achievements in the field of security and safety represent important national gains that need to be maintained and protected, in support of the efforts to curtail and eradicate crime,” he added.
Expert Gary Avis participated in the course, in addition to a number of staff members from the section. Towards the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates and commemorative photos were taken.
