Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received his Iranian counterpart, Mustafa Muhammad Al Najjar, and his accompanying delegation. The visiting delegation arrived this afternoon to the country.
During the visit over the next several days, the two sides will discuss a number of issues of mutual interest and the means to develop cooperation regarding them. They will also discuss work mechanisms and cooperation at the security level between the two ministries.
The accompanying delegation included a number of assistants and advisors, in addition to high-ranking officials in the Iranian Ministry of Interior. They were received at the airport by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, and a number of high-ranking police officers.
