The Punitive and Correctional Establishments Department (Al Ain Section) - Reform and Rehabilitation Branch, represented by the Activities and Social Welfare unit at the women’s ward, recently organized a number of recreational activities for inmates working in workshops, maintenance, and cleaning; as well as female inmates working in the women’s workshop. These activities contribute to their integration as positive members in their society and country as well.
The activities and events included educational contests and sports game where prizes and gifts were distributed to the winners. The program also included honoring outstanding female inmates working in the workshop and certificates of appreciation and prizes were presented in recognition of their distinguished efforts.
