A delegation from the Ministry of Interior, headed by Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services, took part in the ‘HR Change, Transformation, and Innovation’ Conference that took place in the United Kingdom on 13-14 October.
The Conference, which marks its third edition, was attended by key international companies CEOs, including Google, who reviewed their practical experiences in driving human resources development.
The Conference discussed the best distinguished methods for workforce management and the perfect tools to develop HR work mechanisms. The participants also reviewed best methods to attract high-potentials and multitalented personnel.
Additionally, the Conference focused on discussing the best practices in change, transformation, and innovation in Human Resources within the framework of institutional excellence. It also discussed methods of utilizing technological transformation in order to promote human resources; in addition to reviewing innovative practices and recent developments in the human resources field.
Major General Al Awadhi Al Menhali stressed on the commitment of the Ministry of Interior to participate in international conferences and forums in order to review innovative practices for optimal development of human resources, and to exchange knowledge and expertise with other participants. He also noted that the Ministry of Interior constantly endeavors to drive development, modernization, and performance with the aim of attaining the highest levels of quality and institutional excellence.
He also noted that the Conference represents an opportunity for communication and brainstorming innovative and creative ideas and outcomes in the field of human resources development. It falls within the framework of administrative and institutional excellence system, and the strategic thinking and innovative creativity methodology. “The Conference provides an opportunity to avail the experiences of HR professionals, by reviewing key future approaches and plans in the field of human resources development to enhance the police work system,” he said.
The Ministry of Interior’s delegation had participated in the Conference’s workshops, where they discussed with other participants and experts a number of experiences and lessons learned from the different HR practices and modern applications. The delegation also reviewed the latest ideas, suggestions, and innovations that support human resource development approaches. The Conference has enabled participants to exchange knowledge and expertise, review modern tools, and keep pace with the advanced technologies used for developing human resources capabilities.
