MoI Runner Secures Quota Place in International Spartan Race

MoI staff member and Former runner in the UAE’s National Athletics Team, Rashid Butti Al Qubaisi, has claimed quota place in the Spartan Race World Championship in the USA, after ranking in fifth position at the XDubai Spartan race.

Al Qubaisi qualified among more than 5000 runners of different age categories and 21 countries, who took part in the XDubai Spartan race, regarded as one of the toughest endurance races that require high physical fitness. The race features three different stages and categories that include a 30 km obstacle sprint and athletic competitions that require physical fitness and high preparation.
