The Ministry of Interior, represented by the GIS Security Center of Abu Dhabi Police, has received an international award for designing and executing an electronic infrastructure to serve police headquarters and centers through security geographical systems, and the exchange of geospatial information at the federal level of the Ministry of Interior.
A delegation headed by Major General Ahmad Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of the Central Operations in Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, will be handed the award by the founder of the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), a global leader in geographical information system software based in California, USA.
