The Metropolitan Police Directorate, in collaboration with the Training Department of the General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, upgraded the efficiency of a number of its officers in applying the concepts of excellence and crime prevention methods and tools, as well as training them in the roles of the judicial police and police officers.
The participants were acquainted with the concept of crime and its phases, the needed qualities of law enforcers, and the competence of arrest officers in accordance with the laws and procedures in implementing an arrest.
Moreover, they were also briefed on the concepts of excellence by explaining the institutional standards of excellence. This includes tools and mechanisms, and action strategies, as well as knowledge management and gauging performance. The strategy of designing excellence in standards was also tackled, in addition to strategic planning, performance management, and organizational excellence.
