The Al Dhabyaniah Committee at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi organized an educational day to raise awareness on Diabetes for its staff, in cooperation with the Medical Services Department of Abu Dhabi Police.
During the event, which was held in the framework of the World Diabetes Day, medical examinations for blood, blood pressure and diabetes were carried out for both staff and clients. They also had their weight and height measured, and received guidance and advice.
Furthermore, Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, was first to conduct the medical examinations. Notably, a total of 100 officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and women working at the Directorate General, undertook the medical tests.
