Participants enrolled in the second Distinguished Leadership Competencies Program recently visited the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at Abu Dhabi Police to review the different projects, initiatives and plans at the Punitive and Correctional Establishments sector. The visit is a part of the set of activities included in the program, which is supervised by the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior.
During the visit, the 20 officers who make up the second batch of participants attended a presentation showcasing the role of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at Abu Dhabi Police and its future projects. They also watched a documentary film about the department and its wide range of activities. Towards the end of the visit, they toured the different sections and buildings of the Al Wathba Section, and were briefed on the services and correctional and rehabilitation programs provided to inmates.
