Brigadier Al Rumaithi inspects security procedures and services at Abu Dhabi Airport 
 
 

As part of field tours, Brigadier Mohammad Batti Al Rumaithi, Director General of Security Affairs and Ports (SAP) at ADP paid a visit to Abu Dhabi International Airport to inspect the facilities of SAP at the airport and Police Section there. The aim of the visit is to ensure that all necessary arrangements have been made to receive passengers and that the facilities required for those who will depart for Ramadan Umra are in place.
 
At the beginning of his tour Brigadier Al Rumaithi met Brigadier Ghareeb Al Hosani, Director of Ports Security where they reviewed the efforts made to provide best security services for Abu Dhabi Airport users and the arrangements made to implement security work priorities in the light of 2008 strategy.
 
During the tour the Brigadier was accompanied by LT. Col. Hareef Rashid, Head of Airport Police Section and a number of officers. The tour covered check in facilities, iris scan and operations room of ports security department. The inspection was to ensure the  preparedness to deal with the coming events where the numbers of arrivals and departures are in increase.
 
At the end of his tour Brigadier Al Rumaithi reminded his staff with importance of better treatment for the airport users as this represents the civilized facet of the country.
