Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Salim Al Kutbi, deputy commander-in-chief of Abu Dhabi Police, met Dr. Mahinda Balasuriya, ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the United Arab Emirates, in his office at the Police GHQ.
During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, in addition to ways of enhancing relations between the two countries in the various areas of police work.
For his part, Dr. Mahinda praised the effectiveness, readiness and efficiency of UAE police forces. At the end of the meeting, and in the presence of a number of high-ranked officers, Major general Staff Al Kutbi presented a commemorative gift to the Sri Lankan ambassador.
