A total of 65 personnel have graduated from the Ports Security Institute at Abu Dhabi Police after completing training courses on ‘sense of security’, ‘basic airport security’ and ‘body language’.
Acting director of Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police, Colonel Khamis Musabbah Al Marar said the Ports Security Institute offers training to police personnel as well as to employees working at the airports. He stressed the importance of the courses held at the institute in sharpening skills and enhancing performance.
Abu Dhabi Police pays increasing attention to training process so that its staff members are able to know modern sciences being utilized in the security field.
Present were Colonel Abdullah bin Hattab, director of the institute and a number of police officers.
