The Forensic Evidence Department in the Abu Dhabi Police General Department for Security and Ports, discussed cooperation in the field of forensic evidence with a visiting delegation from the United Kingdom’s Forensic Services Lab .
Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of Forensics Department, said: “The delegation reviewed the electronic management system for forensic evidence, its content of performance indicators, and the applied quality control system. They also heard an explanation about the operation systems and the most important cases handled by the department’s labs.”
The delegation, headed by expert Paul Hackett, Director of Forensic Services Laboratory, admired the scientific and technical level of the Forensic Evidence Department in Abu Dhabi Police General Department, and the development achieved by the Department, noting that the development is on par with other forensic departments in advanced countries.
