The air ambulance of Abu Dhabi Police rescued a Filipino man whose saloon car was stuck in the sand somewhere near the city of Liwa in the Western Region in Abu Dhabi.

The Air Wing department of the Abu Dhabi Police received a notification from the Central Operations about a person whose car was stuck in the desert sand. An air ambulance immediately headed to the area in question and started search operation that took more than two hours due to the lack of correct coordinates of the stranded individual.

The Central Operations Room communicated with the crew of the aircraft, which included Major Ahmad Busanda and Captain Ali Al Mansouri. After vigorous efforts, the location of the person was identified. The medical team of the air ambulance conducted the necessary medical checks for the person after rescuing him from the burning desert sand.
