Abu Dhabi Civil Defense teams managed to put out a fire that broke out on Thursday evening at the Emergency Department warehouse of Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Civil Defense in Abu Dhabi, stated that the Rapid Intervention teams Division and Civil Defense teams from the Khalifa City b Police Station, Mohammed Bin Zayed Police Station, and Bani Yas Police Station rushed to the scene, upon receiving the report from the Operations Room at 10.25 PM.
Colonel Al Nuaimi added that the fire was extinguished in record time before spreading to other areas. As no human casualties were reported, firefighting teams carried out a cooling process of the warehouse; while investigation is still underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
