ADP Ports Security Institute Boost Efficiency of 90 Staff Members

The Ports Security Institute organized a set of courses to boost the efficiency of 90 staff members from various ports security management departments at Abu Dhabi Police. The courses included the Airports Security Basics” course for recruits; the renewal of Computer-based Simulation technology licenses (CPT) courses for inspection operators and airports personnel; the management skills development courses, and the administrative innovation in planning and pre-organization course.

Lt. Colonel Ali Sultan Al Ketbi, Director of the Institute said: “The set of courses that were implemented during this year are part of the training plan developed for this purpose. The plan falls in line with the Abu Dhabi Police's strategy, aimed at qualifying staff members and boosting their efficiency, in order to contribute to providing the best police services according to the best international standards.

Lt. Colonel Al Ketbi indicated that the college focuses on achieving the best training results as a part of the plan, conducting periodic assessment of the courses’ levels and their importance in enhancing the skills and competence of police staff members. It also endeavors to introduce international best practices adopted in the field of training.
