The first Forensic Evidence Department’s Six-a-side Football Tournament kicked off at the ADP Personnel stadium. The Tournament, with the participation of 8 teams representing the various Department’s sections, will last until December 23rd.
Colonel Abdul Rahhman Al Hammadi, Director of Forensic Evidence Department, inaugurated the tournament with an address emphasizing the importance of sports and its role in physical and mental balance. He stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to promote the role of sports and to provide all necessary resources to achieve its goals.
Al Hammadi wished all participating teams the best of luck; valuing their participation within the framework of fair competition.
In the first day matches, the Database team defeated the Machines and Weapons Section team 8-1; the match between the Director’s office team and the Forensic Evidence Department team ended with a tie, 2-2.
