The Diwan Department at the Abu Dhabi Police renewed its ISO 9001 certificate for the third consecutive time, after qualifying in the decision-makers support project and successfully meeting the conformity requirements set by the international Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.

Brigadier Mohammed Rashid bin Kasheem Al Shamesi, Head of the Diwan Department at the Abu Dhabi Police, stressed that this accomplishment was achieved thanks to the efforts of the work team, who met the certificate’s precise standards and global conditions. “The efforts would not have achieved the desired goals without the unlimited support of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,” added Brigadier Al Shamesi.

Furthermore, Brigadier Al Shamesi emphasized the national cadres’ role in obtaining the ISO. “The department’s performance indicators have been improved and customer satisfaction levels rose to roughly 86%, with these satisfaction levels maintaining an annual increase of 5%. Over 90% of the training plan improved by record levels, services were improved, and staff members became more efficient,” he pointed out.

Brigadier Al Shamesi highlighted that this milestone is the result of the support and directives of the police leadership, and falls in line with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy of applying global best practices. “It also reflects the efforts exerted by the work teams and the department’s employees. Their keenness to achieve leadership and excellence in the provision of high quality services reflects the department's commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service,” he concluded.
