Three seriously ill female Nationals, including two children, were airlifted to hospital by the air ambulance aircraft of Abu Dhabi Police, in two separate missions.

In the first case, the air ambulance aircraft airlifted the two girls (aged 11 and 12 years old), from Rashid Hospital in Dubai to Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi. In the second case, a 28-year-old woman was transferred from Delma Hospital in the Western Region to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. In both cases, the air ambulance provided the necessary first aid to the patients throughout the flight to the hospital for treatment.

It is noteworthy that the Air Wing Department of Abu Dhabi Police carries out numerous air ambulance and rescue missions, in addition to aerial photography, road monitoring, among other things.  For this end, it resorts to state-of-the-art equipment and machinery to rescue and give first aid to the wounded and injured.
