A 15 years old Arab girl died this morning after drowning in a pond in the city of Al Ain
The girl, who had gone for a walk, accompanied by a neighbor and a family member, on the trucks road in the Al Kassis area, fell and drowned in the pond.
Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Acting Director of Al Ain Police Directorate stated that the Al Ain Police Operations Room received a call reporting that a young girl had fallen in a water pond. The competent authorities responded immediately and managed to pull the girl out of the pond, only to find out that she had died. The dead girl’s body was transferred by ambulance to the hospital, in order to complete the necessary procedures.
Colonel Al Rashidi appealed to mothers and fathers to exercise extreme caution while out on a walk, urging them not to leave their children unattended, in order to prevent risks and unexpected accidents.
