9220 Traffic tickets   in a week

The traffic and licensing department of the Abu Dhabi police have registered

9220 traffic violations  during the last week.

Most of the offence booked were due to over speeding ,numbering 6263, 310 for not using safety belt .201 drivers were booked for not keeping the safe distance between the vehicles , 103 for using mobile while driving ,33 offended by jumping the red light and twelve were booked for driving without licence.
