As many as 62 motorists have had their driving licenses seized by traffic section of Al Ain for exceeding the maximum number of black points in November, according to Major Matar Abdullah Al Muhairi, head of traffic violations at the Traffic and Patrols Section of Al Ain.
Failure to adhere to speed limit on the roads was the major cause of having the driving licenses withheld, he said.
He urged motorist to abide by traffic rules and avoid committing offences and have black points registered against them. This would eventually lead to their driving licenses being withdrawn.
The section has received a total of 7236 clients during last November.
Al Muhairi highlighted the Section's concern to get all transactions accomplished without delay and in an easy manner, in line with the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police which calls for delivery of premium services to the general public.
