As many as 60 members from the Emirates Women Police Association (EWPA) returned to the UAE after performing the Umrah rituals. The trip was organized by the Association, in collaboration with the Women Development Committee at the Ministry of Interior.
Major Amina Mohamed Khamis Al Baloushi, Chairperson of the Emirates Women Police Association, stressed that the initiative falls within the EWPA’s commitment to supporting religious, social, and cultural activities, as well as fostering amicable relations between the female members in a bid to encourage them to pursue the efforts of giving and innovation.
A number of female members who performed the Umrah rituals praised the initiative that enabled them to see the Kaaba and the Sacred Mosque (Al-Masjid Al-Haram) for the first time.
