Three Emirati men, who were stranded at sea after their boat sank, have been rescued 12 miles off Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
Last night, Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing dispatched two Search and Rescue aircraft from Al Bateen Airbase when notified about the incident.
The search operation was carried out in coordination with the rescue boats of the Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA).
Two hours later, the aircraft, equipped with night vision devices, spotted the three men adrift near their sunken boat and reported their position to CNIA's boats.
