The Police Academy celebrated today Thursday, the graduation of 16 officers from different Ministry of Interior General Departments and Administrations as part of the “Supervisory Skill Development” course, organized by the Officers Training Institute. The course spanned over a week from May 13th to the 17th.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, General Director of the Police Academy, Major Abdullah Saeed Sebaa, Acting Director of the Officers Training Institute, as well as a number of Department Directors and Heads of Divisions from the Police Academy and the Officers Training Institute.
Sebaa pointed out that the course aims at developing the knowledge, capacities and skills of the participants regarding the supervisory skills of division directors. It also increases their expertise in police work, since it included group discussions, role-playing, brainstorming and mini sessions, as well as videos that simulate reality.
