e- Gate system at all entry and exit points planned
 
The Ministry of Interior has formulated a plan to introduce the electronic gate system at all the land and sea entry and exit checkpoints after being applied at a number of airports in the country
 
According to Brigadier Ahmed Al Raisi, Director of the central operations department at the General Headquaterars of Abu Dhabi Police, the new system is expected to be enforced in Al Ain and Ras Al Khaima airports by the end of July
 
Brigadier Al Raisi said that the system is very safe as it has solved the problem of identical names , as the system verifies the finger prints which differs from person to person ,more over it is linked to the unified data base, he said.
 
The system is a part of the ministry of interiors strategy to keep in line with the latest technology, save time and easier for the passengers.
