The Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior organized a workshop to acquaint staff members with the Federal Government Performance Management System “Adaa 2.0”. The system provides an effective mechanism to manage institutional performance and features an advanced structure for strategic indicators related to the Prime Minister's Office.
The workshop, which was attended by 30 staff members, was held at the Prime Minister's Office Headquarters in Dubai. It provided an overview about the program, including the means to log in data and information related to strategic planning operations, such as the strategic indicators’ data; audit outcomes and targets; in addition to development initiatives and activities related to operational plans.
Ibrahim Salman, Director of the Governmental Service Performance Department at the Prime Minister's Office, welcomed the attending officers and participants. He emphasized the importance of such workshops to follow-up on and to monitor the performance of governmental authorities and departments, especially the Ministry of Interior, via the strategy coordination entity, by collecting available data and results and logging them into Federal Government Performance Management System “Adaa 2.0”.
The workshop also provided a detailed overview of the work mechanism of the program; the proper ways to adopt the results included in the system; the revision or additions mechanism; and ways to communicate with the program’s supervisors. Anwar Yousuf, Projects’ Director at the Government Performance Sector, also explained the different procedures related to the system and answered participants’ inquiries in order to guarantee the delivery of accurate information, according to what was presented during the workshop.
