A UAE relief and rescue team reached solo, indonasia yesterday to assist the ongoing operations to search and rescue the victims of the earthquake that devastated the island of java.
The team is headed by Colonel Khalid Abdul Latif Al Dousary, head of the Ambulance and Rescue unit of Abu Dhabi Police and has been dispatched on the orders of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The UAE team is the first Arab and second international team to reach there to take part in the rescue and relief mission along with the Japanese team.
