A high level delegation led by Major General Khalil Badran, Director General of the financial services and administration made a visit to Pakistan to oversee and discuss matters related to the rehabilitation of the repatriated child camel jockeys from UAE.
Major General Khalil Badran said that the visit is made under the directives of HH Lt.Gen.Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Interior. The Ministry of Interior and the UNICEF had earlier signed an agreement to rehabilitate the child jockeys in their respective countries and to provide all the needed assistance to this effect.
Most of the repatriated have been reunited with their family and has been rehabilitated .the delegation met the overseas minister of Pakistan and also held talks with the unicef representatives and officials from the from the Ministries of foreign affairs and interior. The delegation invited the Pakistani officials to attend a meeting scheduled in UAE.
