Training course for police personnel
The Abu Dhabi Police Directorate General celebrated yesterday the graduation of the first batch of 81 personnel who underwent a training course on attack and defence techniques at the Tonfa Club.
The course was organised by the Special Task Section of the Directorate General of Protection of Firms and attended by Lt.-Colonel Rashid Suhail Saeed Al Ali, Head of the Special Task Department, and a number of officers.
"We aspire that this training programme and the coming ones will develop and upgrade the morale and physical skills of the police forces to serve the security and economy of the country under the Abu Dhabi Police strategy and in line with instructions of Lt.-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior," Lt.-Colonel Rashid said.
