Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Head of the Permanent Higher Commission for Internal Security, headed the Committees' periodic meeting that was held at the camp of the Special Security Forces Headquarters, in Seeh Al Mahab in Al Dhaid area.
The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, previous decisions of the committee that have been implemented, joint coordination mechanisms and training programs that are appropriate for internal security operations.
The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior; police general directors in the UAE; members of the Committee; and a number of senior officers.
It is noteworthy that the Permanent Higher Commission for Internal Security holds its meetings in implementation of the Ministerial Decree issued by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior on the establishment of the committee, and includes general directors and police chiefs at the UAE level.
