The Police College in Abu Dhabi welcomed the 30th batch of candidate students and their parents, during an open introductory meeting held at the college. The meeting was attended by Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director, along with several heads of departments and training staff.

Addressing the new students, Colonel Al Ketbi stressed on the police leadership’s commitment to provide the country with competent and well educated national cadre, capable of preserving the national gains and promote police work.

Police College Director explained that the 9-semester academic and training program at the Police College begins with a preparatory semester followed by eight semesters over the course of four and a half years. Upon completing these studies, students will be qualified to obtain a PhD degree in police sciences and criminal justice. In conclusion, Colonel Al Ketbi wished the students best luck in their new career.

The introductory meeting aims at acquainting students and their parents with the procedures, regulations, and specific requirements for joining the Police College. The floor was opened to answer the attendees’ inquiries and listen to their views.
