Sheikh Saif inaugurates ISNR Abu Dhabi Exhibition and Conference
HH Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior, visited here today the pavilion of Caracal company at ISNR Abu Dhabi Exhibition and Conference which began here today.
Caracal International, an Emirati company based in Abu Dhabi, is the first light arms manufacturer in the region.
As he toured the stand, Sheikh Saif lauded the international fame that Caracal has made within a short time since its inception. The UAE, he said, is proud of the quality of Caracal defence products, adding that the efficiency with which they had been made is a strong testimony to the talents of UAE national cadres.
ISNR is taking place 2-5 March, 2008 under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces. ISNR Abu Dhabi is dedicated to homeland security systems and services and is of particular interest to governments as well as the private sector in the region.
The exhibition features 147 specialist companies from 20 countries displaying a range of equipment and technology aimed at counter terrorism, intelligence and threat assessment, border and transport security, critical infrastructure protection, emergency preparedness, and crisis management and response.
