Sheikh Mohammed praises Abu Dhabi Police
efforts to tackle crime
The effective use of modern technology by Abu Dhabi Police in fighting crime was hailed by Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi deputy crown prince and chief of staff of UAE Armed forces
On a visit to the capital police department, he said UAE was the first country to use the iris recognition system to boost the security at border check posts. He also hailed the capabilities of Abu Dhabi police in terms of human resources and acquisition of modern technology.

Accompanying Lt. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed were Sheikh Hamadan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of state for foreign affairs, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi seaport authority, Lt Gen.Dr.Mohammed Saeed Al Badi, the Minister of Interior and Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhahari, Minister of justice, Islamic affairs and Awqaf.
